How much does it cost to develop, submit and negotiate a GSA Contract award through FedPros?
The cost of our assistance in preparing your GSA Schedule proposal depends on a number of variables:
- Is your organization offering products or services?
Product nomenclature is usually readily available. In contrast, services are described in writing, in detail. This could involve starting from scratch or rewriting available material.
- How many different products or labor categories are you offering?
A Product proposal for one product (Yes, we have done proposals for only 1 product) is not as extensive or costly as a proposal for 20, 200 or 1,000. A Service proposal for 5 labor categories is less labor intensive than a proposal for 50 labor categories.
- How much time does your staff have to dedicate to preparing the proposal?
The average proposal takes about 60 hours to complete and submit. Your staff, if they have the time to dedicate to the proposal and with our guidance, can complete about 60% or 70% of the effort, reducing the cost of our services substantially. Our experience has shown that, on average, our clients find the best balance of using internal resources versus FedPros support is approximately 30% to 40%.
FedPros offers three fee plans. We would be happy to discuss your effort and advise you on the best plan for your project.
Hourly-Rate Basis FedPros can provide support services at a fixed hourly rate. Services are billed on a monthly basis, with dates and descriptions of the services provided. When clients choose hourly billing they are in direct control of all costs, as hours are only billed for directed tasks.
Hourly-Rate with Ceiling This billing rate allows for hourly billing with a "not to exceed rate". FedPros will provide services up to an agreed ceiling.
Fixed-Price Basis FedPros can provide a firm fixed price based on the variables described above. Payments will be billed over three monthly installments or as negotiated.
